Ms. Marcus has specialty training in identifying the nature of each student's learning difficulty and in offering concrete suggestions to parents, teachers, and school systems regarding remediation of the problem.
Ms. Marcus has authored a book on assertive skills for tweens and adolescents. She holds a Bachelors and Master of Education degrees from Clemson University and has performed post-graduate work at the University of South Carolina.

Ms. Marcus’ areas of expertise include assessment and treatment of learning disabilities, dyslexia, Nonverbal Learning Disorders, and of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Specialty areas include treatment for depression; anxiety and stress; and development of healthy parenting strategies. In addition to working with children, adolescents, and families in a private practice, she lectures nationally on Multiple Intelligences and Assertive Skills. Ms. Marcus develops curricula for Multiple Intelligences that are specific to school settings. She has taught Multiple Intelligences for years at private schools.
